Time has Flown by, this is Actually my 394th Post and Still going Strong, How Long for....................... "Who Knows" but I Suppose One Day I will get Tired of Posting about My Life and Great Soul/Funk Music, but not Just Yet!
Now for some Music, Released in the UK back in 1977, a Great Single by Joe Tex, called "Ain't Gonna Bump No More (with no big fat woman)" this was not the Usual Joe Tex Music, but Disco!
Here are some Facts and Figures about this Blog:
I still get about 120 Visits Per Day on Average, with about 400 Page Views Per Day.
I get Approx just under 4,000 Visitors Per Month, with about 14,000 Page Views, from them!
In the Last 12 Months, I have had 43,915 Visitors with 70,946 Page Views!
The Most Visitor's come from the USA, with Twice as Much than any other Country, Followed by the UK then France and Germany!
Since I Started Monitoring this Blog, I have now had Just Under 3/4 Million Page Views!
So all things considered, I am Very Happy with How the Blog is going after 4 Years!
I Don't Very Often ask other Blogs to Link Nowadays, this is Mainly because after a While, When I have gone through Blogs, who I Advertise, they have Gotten Rid of my Blog Link on their List, which is Very Annoying!
I do now and Again, Check other Blogs "to see if my link is still on their Blog" if it isn't, I get Rid of theirs, Instantly!
From my Experience their are Lot Of People, who let you advertise them, but will Soon get Rid of Your Link!
That Reminds me, I Must Check Other Blogs Soon, for My Link!

As for Posts coming in the Future, My Life is now up to 1988, which is about 5 Years away from the Biggest thing that has happened to me in my Lifetime, I still have about 5 Funk Bass Players to Post about, then I was Thinking about Posting about Soul/Funk Bands and Some of their Great Music they have Produced, Bands I was thinking about, were for Instance: Change, Sos Band, Cameo, Skyy, Brass Construction, Mass Production, Bar-kays, Mtume and Zapp!
Anyway that is in the Future, this is the Present, and Once again Thanks for Visiting this Blog!

This was a Great Track, I Remember it was always Played on the Radio and TV, Joe Tex Appeared on "Soul Train" to Promote the Song, its a Great Recording, Especially "When the Fat Woman Comes onto the Stage" would this be a Title of a Record Today, I Doubt It!
I have included the Track Twice, the Second Video is Twice as Long, see more of the "Fat Woman"!
The Track was Taken for his Album "Bumps & Bruises" on the Epic Record Label and Written Joe Tex and Buddy Killen, although Tex went by the Name of "Bennie Lee McGinty" this was his Aunt's Name and it was for Tax Reason's!
The Track Reached Number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Number 7 on the US R&B Chart, it was also his only Hit in the UK, Reaching Number 2 on the Pop Chart!
This Turned out to be his Last Ever Hit Record , as he Died in 1982 from an Heart Attack, he was 47 Years of Age.
